The Simply Organic Christmas Programme
On Nov.12th, Music Makers was delighted to be able to announce the anniversary of "Simply Organic". The first
recital of the series last year was exciting in that 40 people arrived, giving us the confidence to continue with
the format as originally conceived. During the year we have maintained a high average of audience members, who by
their requests, enjoy being part of the creative process. Our special thanks go to
Barry Valentine, who has provided us with a fabulous variety of music,
with very few repeats and with opportunity to expand our musical knowledge and appreciation.
Although the programmes are not usually announced in advance, we would like to take this opportunity to let
everyone know of the plans for Wednesday Dec.17th. By popular demand and because singing has become part of the
weekly tradition, the recital on that day will consist of a glorious programme of Christmas Carols. Some are to
be sung by a special choir of friends of "Simply Organic" assembled for the occasion and some are for
audience participation.
Music will begin as always at 10.10am, lasting for about an hour, after which Anglican Caterers will provide
the usual delightful refreshments with some special Christmas fare to boot!
